Russell Johnson ’67 opened his business AccounTax in 1983 when it consisted of just him visiting clients’ homes, laying out documents across their dining room tables. He later opened an office in San Bruno and had a robust clientele. Outside of work, Russ was a dedicated Bay Area sports fan. One of his favorite stories was when Willie Mays drove him and his friends home after a Giants game. He was eternally curious and loved learning, reading whenever he could and listening to opera. Russ died June 19, 2023.
