In 1957, Rosemary Behrens M.A. ’90 and her husband founded a school in Redwood City where Rosemary began her career in education. In the Redwood City School district, she was a teacher, school administrator, and district’s Coordinator of Technology. She planned and helped design the media/technology labs at all 16 Redwood City Schools. In 2021, Congresswoman Jackie Speier recognized Rosemary for her dedication to education. Rosemary, the proud matriarch of three children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, died March 8, 2022.
