Rose Marie Beebe ’76 writes: "After graduating from SCU I went on to Stanford for a Ph.D in Spanish literature. I was hired in the Modern Languages Dept. at SCU in 1978, rose through the ranks from lecturer to Full Professor in 2002. I have been married for almost 12 years to Robert Senkewicz, Professor of History at SCU since 1976. Together we have published a number of books on Spanish and Mexican California, especially the mission period. We enjoy spending time up at Donner Lake where we can relax with our long-haired dachshund Ollie!"
