He was a proud Marine and served in the Korean War, spending 9 months on the front lines. Past Italian Club President, Little League coach, banking lender and executive, retiring from Wells Fargo after a highly successful 40-year career. He served on numerous association boards and was active in his community. A talented athlete who started college at Santa Clara University on a baseball scholarship, he loved playing tennis and pickleball into his 80s and enjoyed many sports. He was an enthusiastic member of a close-knit bridge group for 40 years, taught all his children how to snow and water ski and was a mean accordion player who could play any instrument by ear. He enjoyed many trips to Hawaii but the place he was happiest was sharing good times, rain or shine, with family and friends at Lake Cavanaugh. Family was his primary focus, most valued legacy and source of tremendous pride.
