A native of San Francisco, Robert Biaggi ’67, MBA ’71 was born on Dec. 7, 1945, to Aldo Biaggi and Edith Cassaretto-Biaggi. Growing up in the city, Bob attended Sacred Heart Catholic High School and SCU, where he received his B.A. in civil engineering and his MBA. After graduation Bob enlisted in the Army, where he achieved the rank of first lieutenant. Following his military service, he worked in the construction industry in San Jose and on the Peninsula. Quick with a smile, and with an infectious laugh, Bob always became a revered member of any group he joined or any gathering he attended. He spent many years volunteering at the Eastfield Ming Quong Strawberry Festival in Los Gatos, and later at West Valley College. Bob’s interests always focused on spending time with his family and friends. Summer or winter, he loved to vacation at the family’s mountain home in Lake Tahoe. Bob passed away at his home on June 26, 2018. His daughter, Vanessa, and the many friends he made throughout his life survive him—everyone whose life he touched will miss him. His gentle manner, sharp intellect, and positive spirit made Bob an invaluable member of every community.
