Robert "Bob" L. Huebner MBA ’64, a resident of Los Gatos, age 77, passed away peacefully at home on August 25, 2104, from complications related to diabetes. Bob was the devoted husband of Donna, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. He was the proud father of Denny (Wendy) Huebner, Kelly (Marvin) Blough, and Joe (Jacqueline) Huebner, and loving grandfather to Brian, Anna, Jessica, Jamie, and Elle. He is also survived by his dear sister Louise Burnett, her four children and their families.

Bob Huebner was born in Palo Alto in 1936 to Ludwig and Babette Huebner, immigrants from Germany. He attended Palo Alto High School, received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from San Jose State University, and received his MBA from Santa Clara University. As an adult, Bob worked in engineering and executive positions at Silicon Valley companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Royco, Varian, and Granger Associates. He retired at the age of 55 and enjoyed his later years with family, and traveling with his wife Donna to vacation spots in Lake Tahoe, Europe, the Caribbean, and Mexico.
