In Monte Sereno near Los Gatos, Robert Dench MBA ’65 and his wife, Mickey, created a warm, joyful home where they raised three daughters. Robert proudly served as a Naval pilot, flying A-4 Skyhawks, F-2H Banshees, and A-7 Corsairs, until 1970. After earning his MBA, his career flourished through his work as an engineer, entrepreneur, and later, a dedicated venture capitalist. Robert found joy in giving back, especially as a guest lecturer and mentor at SCU. Later in life, Robert saw his family grow with six grandsons and seven great-grandchildren. Robert died on Sept 22, 2024, and is survived by family, including grandson Ben Painter ’06.
