A team of Bronco attorneys won one of the highest wrongful death settlements for a case in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Nick Lezotte ’02, J.D. ’05 teamed up with Rob Bohn J.D. ’94 and Ram Fletcher J.D. ’05 of Bohn & Fletcher in San Jose to help a family who had lost their mother and wife in a vehicle collision in which the victim was initially blamed for causing the crash. The trial team was able to prove that the collision was caused primarily by a view obstruction created by a construction company parking trucks next to a highway. They also argued the traffic management company failed to perform its duties in protecting people from this hazard. The family—including two young children—will receive what has been valued at more than $200 million.
