Rob Adams ’79 lives in Burlingame and is enjoying his sixth year of retirement. In addition to wine, food, and art related travel with his wife, Beth, Rob plays electric bass guitar for rocking band Back By Thursday (fronted by classmate Jim Galli ’79). Rob recently published his first book, Cardboard Heroes—Favorite Baseball Cards from My Childhood Collection, which is a nostalgic look at over 360 cards from the late 1950s to late 1970s. Included are cards of four Santa Clara greats; Bruce Bochte ’72, John Boccabella ’63, Al Gallagher ’67, and Bob Garibaldi ’64.
