An athletic kid who was very involved as a leader in his school and church, Richard Edward Wagner M.S. ’64 was proud of the home he built in Auburn, Washington. He supported his community as an Auburn City Councilman for 27 years, elected seven times—the longest term of any council member in the history of the city. His proudest accomplishment was championing the construction of a community center where the diverse Auburn community could gather and interact. Richard died on June 16, 2021.
