A lifelong San Jose resident born to Italian immigrant parents, Richard Pardini ’67 was known to family and friends as a charismatic man with a huge heart. Rich had a plethora of degrees and served as a combat engineer officer in the Army for more than six years. He was also awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his assignments overseas in Korea. He continued to work in engineering and taught construction management courses. Rich explored many hobbies, including building race cars, surfing, hunting, woodworking, and trips to Disneyland. Rich died Dec. 11, 2023, and is survived by family, including brother Daniel Pardini ’70 and nephew Dustin Pardini ’96.
