Richard Kabanek ’70, MBA ’79 died on March 21. After graduating from Santa Clara, he worked for several Bay Area companies and retired from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2001. For fun, Richard rebuilt cars in his garage and loved teaching others how to fix anything and everything. He was often seen wearing his favorite 49ers jacket, driving a convertible Corvette with the love of his life, Betty Kabanek MBA ’79. Richard is survived by his wife, their two children, Robert Kabanek and Susan Bishop J.D. ‘96, and four grandchildren.
