Rick Justice ’71, died January 30, 2021, at home in the Bay Area with family at his side. Despite his cancer diagnosis, when asked how he was doing, he’d always have the same response. He’d always say, as genuine as ever, “I’m doing great. Just enjoying one day at a time.” He always saw the best in others and inspired near-infinite acts of generosity. Rick was one of the world’s biggest Golden State Warriors fans. Just an hour after he passed, the Dubs absolutely throttled the Detroit Pistons (118-91), led by his favorite player, Steph Curry. He is survived by his loving family, including daughter Nicole A. Justice ’10 and daughter-in-law Jordan L. Justice M.A. ’15.
