In February, Renee Niemi ’86, the head of the smart home business at Logitech, was a panelist at the School of Engineering’s "Imagining the Future State of STEM" conference. Niemi is a visionary business leader who was previously at Google, where she was the director of global business for Android and Chrome for work and education. She has held senior positions at Plantronics, Visto Corporation, Mobilesys Inc., Xircom, and NEC Technologies. As an advocate for diversity, Renée volunteers her time with young women who are looking to explore professional careers in technology.
