Philip Ruhle M.S. ’68 was a quiet, thoughtful man with a quick wit and amazing sense of humor. A mechanical engineer, Philip was employed by three companies in the Bay Area, most notably Westinghouse Marine Division where he was awarded two patents. He was a lifetime member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. An amateur winemaker for 50 years and an avid bicyclist, Phil was also a voracious reader and enjoyed traveling to many countries. For several years he volunteered with the California Trolley and Railroad Corporation. Phil died on March 28, 2023.
