Phil Amormino ’69, present owner/operator of Amormino Machining & Design in Sonoma, has embarked upon a new career: teaching physics to 3rd through 8th grade homeschoolers. As a former science teacher at Justin-Siena High School in Napa, Amormino saw a need for elder science people to eschew retirement and give back some of their time an wisdom as more parents are choosing to pursue homeschool for their children. Amormino travels to home schooling pods to teach in person, and runs lessons on his YouTube channel, PeanutButterPhysics.
