The owner of Headlesburg, Calif., winery MoniClaire Vineyards, Peter Smiderle ’73, died Aug. 17, 20205. Peter lived a full rooted in family, faith, and the vineyard he poured his heart into. He will be remembered for his warm smile, generous spirit, and the zinfandel, petite syrah, and sauvignon blanc vines he nurtured. His legacy will be woven into the land, the wines, and the traditions he so proudly carried forward.
