1966

A stellar professional baseball player, Peter Magrini ’66 had a competitive nature and strong work ethic. In his seven-year-long baseball career he played for the Minnesota Twins, the Boston Red Sox, and the New York Yankees. After baseball, the car business became his second passion and Peter quickly developed into a well-known business leader. Even as a local sports hero and thriving businessman, he first and foremost valued family. If the sun was out, you could find him lounging in his backyard, listening to his transistor radio, a drink in hand, and taking periodic dips into the pool. An avid walker, neighbors would receive a loud hello from him and often a compliment on their yards as he made his rounds. Peter seemed to know a little bit of the history of every house he passed. Peter died on October 27, 2022.
