A lifelong educator, Peggy Anastasia MA ’89 died May 14, 2022. Peggy began teaching in Cupertino Union School District in 1972. She worked magic with children, inspiring them to love learning and to believe in themselves. She spent many years teaching at a variety of schools across California. At SCU, she supervised and mentored teachers in the credential program. Peggy’s positive energy and passion for life and people was boundless. She is survived by extended family including cousin Donald Anastasia ’07.
