Born and raised in California’s wine country, the life and work of Paul Cassayre ’52 was entwined with those vineyards. A structural engineer by trade, Paul started his own engineering firm that worked on numerous local projects including many wineries. He even started and ran his own winery, Cassayre-Forni Cellars winery, until it was sold in 1986. Outside of work Paul loved to sing, act, and dance. He died Oct. 21, 2023 and is survived by family, including brother James Cassayre ’63, and cousins Michael Callan ’62 and John Callan ’65.
