1981

Patrick Taylor M.A. ’81 retired after 43 years as an Ignatian educator, serving as director of resident students (twice), dean of students, director of student activities, campus minister, personal and academic guidance counselor, JV baseball coach, roller hockey coach—and for the past four years, program director for personal counseling. He says, “This ministry has filled my heart with gladness and gratitude for the many wonderful memories and cherished relationships with Bellarmine colleagues, students, and families. My service has been guided by the Bellarmine motto (and Santa Clara charism) ‘men & women for and with others’ as well as the scripture verse ‘Much is expected from those to whom much has been given’ (Luke 12:49). God has blessed me in a special way these past 43 years in addition to my life pathway of 65 years. Being a Bronco is awesome, too!”
