Raised in a music-filled home, Owen Haggerty ’80 developed a deep love for records as a kid, eagerly sharing his favorites with his siblings. He also made a name for himself in the neighborhood with his athleticism and admired sportsmanship at Nibley Park. After graduating college, Joe built a fulfilling career in IT, spending nearly 20 years at Lockheed and later almost a decade at Level 3, before embracing semi-retirement in 2009 with freelance work that took him across the country.  He also embraced new passions like salsa dancing. Joe died on June 30, 2025.
