Nancy Orocio ’15 spoke at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula Women’s Leadership Breakfast. As a “Dreamer” she highlighted her ability to overcome hardship and achieve success. She writes, “I talked about being an undocumented immigrant growing up in the Bay Area and how I was able to achieve my dreams despite these challenges. I was blessed to have the support of the Jesuits at Santa Clara University, mentors at Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, and my family to help me achieve my dreams. I now work as an immigration counselor for a nonprofit agency in San Jose.”
