For 30 years, Nancy Castro M.A. ’83 was a second grade and special education teacher at various schools in Santa Clara County, then served as a medical transcriptionist until she retired. She also was an active volunteer for Open Doors and Saint Vincent De Paul charities for many years. Nancy died on February 10, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, her daughter and four sons, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Throughout her life, Nancy “Gammy” Castro was a wellspring of love for everyone who knew her, and they will miss her dearly.
