A lifelong scholar with degrees in engineering, German, and Sanskrit, Nagaraja “Mani” Subramanian M.S. ’85 combined brilliance with humility. His path took him from a childhood as one of nine children in Tamilnadu, India, to engineering work in Mumbai and Germany, to a long and impactful career in hardware and software at Intel, IBM and other companies across Silicon Valley.
