Mike Callagy J.D. ’91 has been named county manager of San Mateo by its board of supervisors. Callagy joined San Mateo County as one of three deputy county managers in 2013 after a 29-year career with the San Mateo Police Department, where he ran day-to-day operations and retired as the deputy chief. In 2016, he was named assistant county manager.
