At Santa Clara, Michael Shea ’66, MBA ’69 found a second home. He excelled on the Bronco football team and formed cherished lifelong friendships as part of the legendary Class of ’66 “SCU Rodents.” After graduation, he launched a 40-year career with Mobil Oil, where his sharp mind and steady presence made him a skilled negotiator and respected professional. Mike was also a devoted family man. His beloved wife of 58 years, Margo Shea ’68, their five children, and nine grandchildren were his world. Mike died on June 28, 2025.
