Friends since childhood, Michael Santos ’11 and Darren Harter ’11 run The Futures Project, a private Bay Area foundation that provides financial grants to organizations and individuals. Its focus is on community growth and fostering opportunity by promoting education, youth development, and juvenile justice. The goal of The Futures Project is to support grassroots activism by bringing awareness to people making a difference in the community and highlighting the work that they do. Michael is president of The Futures Project and also works at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in San Francisco. Darren is CFO and Secretary of The Futures Project and also is an assurance manager at Moss Adams LLP.
