1964

An avid fisherman and reader Michael Ramicone MBA ’64 shared his hobbies and wisdom with anyone who’d listen. After serving three years in the United States Coast Guard Air/Sea Rescue Unit during the conflict in Korea, Michael moved on to a career in space and aeronautics engineering. Michael married Venna Vea Peterson in May 1981, seamlessly blending their families of 8 children, 20 grandchildren, and more than 40 great-grandchildren. He was excited when Venna decided to join him in this sport, and she even “outfished” him sometimes. Michael died in December 2022. His final request was, “When can I go fly fishing?”
