Known as ‘Big Bad Mike’ to friends, Michael Michels ’84 taught salsa for 10 years and traveled extensively. He worked as an auditor for California State Fund and centered his life in San Jose, where he was an avid Earthquakes fan. Five years ago, Mike met the love of his life, Frances, and together they embraced new and familiar activities. Mike died July 27, 2023.
