Michael Hennen ’58, M.A. ’60 grew up in Elko, Nevada, and explored nearby Lamoille Canyon and the Ruby Mountains. After earning two degrees from Santa Clara University, Mike joined the Army. He was attached to an Army Military Intelligence Unit in Verona, Italy, and after honorable discharge from service was employed by the Department of Defense. He served in New York, Bangkok, Ft. Meade, Maryland, Munich, and Heidelberg. After 33 years of government service, he retired to the sunny beaches of Florida. Mike died June 11, 2023.
