On January 24, 2021, Michael Joseph Bridgeman ’81 passed away at his home in Gilroy, California, at the age of 61. Michael was intelligent, accomplished, and very successful, graduating cum laude from Santa Clara University’s School of Business with a degree in finance. After working for Spectra-Physics Lasers in Mountain View, he was hired at Snap-On Inc., where he climbed the corporate ladder into the top tier of management. Michael started as controller for the Balco Division, and ended his career with the company as vice president in finance for the Diagnostic and Information Group in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Michael loved classic movies and was a movie trivia whiz. He loved playing ping pong and was quite competitive as all who lost to him could attest. His other interests included listening to music and golfing with friends and family. During retirement, Michael was very enthusiastic and successful in his real estate ventures owning multiple properties. Some of his most relaxing times were spent gazing at the ocean from his deck in Santa Cruz.
