Michael Becerra MBA ’08 was a finalist in the 5th annual Mr. Marina Competition, a fun-spirited fundraising pageant for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which conducts blood cancer research and patient services. Becerra is a co-founder of Crewmix, an app using tech to bring fun groups together to create lifelong memories. He writes, "I am honored and humbled to be involved in the 2016 Mr. Marina competition! Not only is this event totally quirky and uniquely SF, but so many of us have had cancer touch our friends and loved ones. Together with the power of our network, we can support cancer patients and affected families…and accelerate the cure!" Becerra raised over $12,000 and all finalists combined raised $175,000.
