Michael Beblo MBA ’93 moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, after overseeing private equity and venture capital at the Alfred I. duPont Testamentary Trust in Jacksonville, Florida, for more than seven years. Michael supported several community organizations, including the Salvation Army, American Red Cross, the Nature Conservancy and his local food bank, according to the Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System, where he served as director of alternative investments. An enthusiastic gardener, Michael was also an avid hiker, having trekked across trails as far-flung as the Swiss Alps and Asia. He died on Aug. 2, 2015.
