Michael Adza ’49, restaurateur, event planner, and deeply loved husband, father, and grandfather, died Jan. 12, 2024. While at Santa Clara University, Mickey was student body vice president, played football on scholarship, and was inducted into the SCU Athletics Hall of Fame. He made lifelong friends who were so special that they continued getting together over the many decades after graduation. He owned the Elegant Bib restaurant in Alamo, Calif., and eventually became the event manager at Blackhawk Museum in Danville. Mickey will be remembered as a wise man who loved telling stories, planning a great party, and being with his family. He is survived by family, including sons Michael ’77 and Thomas Adza ’81, and daughter Christina Corcorran ’79.
