After completing a second tenure as the presidentially appointed, Senate-confirmed United States Attorney for the Eastern District of California, McGregor Scott ’85 joined the law firm of King & Spalding LLP as a partner in the Sacramento office. His practice will focus on white collar criminal defense and internal investigations. McGregor served as the United States Attorney in both the Bush 43 and Trump administrations and previously served as the elected district attorney of Shasta County. With wife Jennifer, he has raised three sons in El Dorado Hills. The oldest just graduated from Carleton College, the middle one just finished his freshman year at the University of Chicago, and the youngest just completed his sophomore year at Jesuit High School in Sacramento.
