Mary Patricia Navas ’02 grew up roller skating to ’70s and ’80s music in Sunnyvale, Calif. After graduating from Fremont High School, she worked for FedEx then returned to school to earn a bachelor’s in psychology from Santa Clara University. She served others in the public safety field as a records specialist for the Los Altos Police Department and considered her co-workers part of her extended family. Always a foodie, Mary enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, and trying new restaurants. She loved animals, Hawaii, the beach, a good book, and going anywhere with her husband, Lance, and children, Jacob and Sophia. She died April 11, 2020.
