When Mary Parker ’84 was very young she attended a Billy Graham crusade, and later sang with the choir at East Oakland Deliverance Center Church. After graduating with an English degree from SCU, she started law school at USF but ultimately went into the insurance industry, working with the California Workers Compensation Fund. In the year before her death, Mary became involved with an outreach ministry for people without homes. She died Jan. 7, 2020.
