Mary Cochran Wolk ’76 writes: "After leaving SCU I ventured south to UCLA for my masters in public health and an M.D. degree. I moved to Tucson for what was supposed to be a three year residency program and ended up staying. Tucson has been my home since 1981 and I have been busy practicing pediatrics ever since my arrival. I am caring for second generation children now, as the parents of some of my current patients were my patients years ago. Pediatric oncology and pediatric hospice work were a large part of my life for awhile but I am now concentrating on general peds and trying to slow down a bit (unsuccessful to date!). When not working or volunteering in the community my husband and I like to hike, cycle, kayak (tough to do in the desert!), swim and travel."
