Martin O. Silva, S.J. M.Div. ’15 is one of 28 Jesuits ordained into priesthood this summer by the Society of Jesus, the largest order of priests and brothers in the Roman Catholic Church. Silva, 53, was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. He received an MBA from Pepperdine University. Missioned to the Jesuit School of Theology, he earned a Master of Divinity degree while serving as a deacon at San Quentin State Prison. After ordination, he will serve at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Hollywood, California.
