Native Californian Mark B. Hames J.D. ’73 had many passions in life. He was proud of his work in consumer protection and prosecution of elder financial fraud. His passions in retirement were tennis, photography, and computers. He also volunteered as a teacher with an Almaden Valley senior group. He made several friends there and was a popular teacher known for his sense of humor. He continued teaching until the pandemic forced the closure of classes. Mark’s greatest passion, however, was his family. A supportive husband and active father, Mark died on October 2, 2021, and is survived by his loving wife, Joanne ’68, and children Kerry Erickson (Craig) J.D. ’06 and Brian Hames.
