A WWII Navy veteran Mario Geraci ’48, worked for 35 years in his optometric practice. Having grown up on his family’s nursery, Mario was a skilled gardener. He maintained a large backyard fruit and vegetable garden, and shared his produce with family and friends. He was a devoted, active grandpa who attended his grandchildren’s events. He was also a longtime supporter of Bronco basketball, attending almost all their home games. Mario died May 30, 2022.
