María Sánchez ’18 is a forward for the Houston Dash of the NWSL. She also represents the Mexico National team. Sánchez was selected to represent Mexico at the 2023 Pan American Games, held in Chile from Oct. 22 to Nov. 3, 2023, where she took home gold.
