Marc Del Piero ’75 JD ’78 was recently appointed as the chief executive officer of the Ag Land Trust in Monterey County. The Ag Land Trust was organized in 1984 by Del Piero and four other community members to protect the irreplaceable farmlands of the Salinas Valley. Since then, the Trust’s Board of Directors has been committed to purchasing and preserving productive farmlands. The Trust holds over 48,000 acres of “fee owned” farmlands and agricultural open space conservation easements throughout Central California.
