After moving to Germany with her family in August 2015, Mandy Pearson ’08 started working as a project manager for ichhelfe.jetzt. ichhelfe.jetzt (which translates to "I help now") is an online platform that connects help organizations with volunteers who offer their time and in-kind donations in order to improve the care of refugees. Mandy recently represented ichhelfe.jetzt during the European Social Innovation Competition in Berlin and Brussels, where the project became one of the 10 finalists from more than 1,000 applicants.
