Throughout her life, Louise Zarka exhibited a tireless passion for helping others. Louise raised donations for hospitals, schools, and St. Elizabeth’s Day Home through the O’Connor Hospital Guild, Ladies of Charity, and the Catala Club of Santa Clara University. She served in many organizations and was a member of the Serra Club of Santa Clara. In 1990 Louise was invested as a Dame of Magistral Grace in the international Order of Malta, through which she made numerous pilgrimages assisting the sick and ailing. Louise died May 8, 2024.
