Linda A. Williams J.D. ’92 was born in Edmonton, Alberta, to Danish immigrants. Throughout her life she embraced her Danish heritage, passing it on to her daughter and grandchildren. In 1987 Linda earned her B.A. in Economics from UCSC. One of her dreams was to become an attorney, which she fulfilled by graduating from SCU School of Law and passing the state bar that same year. She practiced various areas of law over the next 23 years, but thoroughly enjoyed law at the corporate level. Linda passed away on April 12, 2015, with her husband, Eric, and daughter, Heidi (Williams) Phillips ’97, by her side. She left a positive impression on everyone she met and will be dearly missed. Linda is survived by her husband and daughter, son-in-law John Phillips, father Axel Madsen, sister June (Brian) Clausen, brother Steve (Amy) Madsen, grandsons Jacob and Bennett and five nieces and nephews.
