Leta Sanchez J.D. ’07 practices law in Mount Vernon, Washington. Her prior immigration experience includes employment with a San Jose based immigration law firm and participation in Santa Clara’s immigration law clinic, assisting low income clients.
Ms. Sanchez is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is an active member of the Skagit County Bar Association and helps organize pro bono immigration clinics and outreach programs in the Skagit Valley. Ms. Sanchez’s immigration practice is complimented by her experience in international law. She previously worked at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San Jose, Costa Rica, studied international law in Geneva, Switzerland and attended the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. Ms. Sanchez is a citizen of Canada and has personal experience with family immigration procedures.
