Fitness enthusiast and proud great-grandfather, Lawrence Dechart ’56 died Nov. 2, 2023. After a brief stint in the U.S. Army in Korea, Larry moved to Salt Lake Valley. There he worked in the food brokerage business and enjoyed playing tennis and bridge. He also held a Senior Olympics title and never ceased hoping for the Utah Jazz to win an NBA championship. Larry and his wife, Cindy, traveled extensively, visiting all but one continent and too many countries to list. He also enjoyed many years of volunteering with children in local school districts.
