Lauren Elizabeth Totah ’11 serves in New Oreleans, Louisana with The Good Sheperd of Nativity Mission School through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. The school supports students from underprivileged backgrounds with family incomes below the poverty line with the goal of breaking the cycle of poverty through education. Donations and grants enable the school to cover the cost of tuition. Totah is teacher’s assistant for the kindergarten classroom and a religious studies teacher for k-3 grades. She is the daughter of Paul Totah ’79.
